X Feeds
Due to X's free tier limitations, we are restricted to posting only 17 tweets per day per account. This means our X feeds serve more as a proof of concept, particularly on days with fewer releases. For the best experience, we strongly recommend using our free mobile application or checking our Live Feed. The Live Feed is intentionally delayed to prevent targeting by third parties whilst our mobile application is not.
Artist Feeds
The following stores have their own dedicated X account which automatically tweets when new products are added or restocked!
Don't forget to enable 'All Posts' notifications on the X application to receive push notifications when our automated tweets are issued!
What are the X Feeds?
The X Feeds simply utilise X's Developer API to automatically tweet when a new product is added or restocked to a store. Unfortunately X has limitations with the 'Free' tier so during busy periods some tweets may not send which is why we have our own mobile application which has zero delays, bottlenecks or limitations! The X Feeds are simply there for convenience as they are still useful regardless.
Why did I see a tweet but the item is sold out? There are two common scenarios for this:
- Some stores pre-load items without availability to prepare for future releases or to maintain an archive of their inventory.
- The item may have been released in very limited quantities (sometimes single digits due to cancellations or warehouse finds), and high demand - including competition from bots and scripts - can make items sell out extremely quickly.
The best advice we can offer is to utilise the MerchVault application on Android and iOS as it provides the best experience with no rate limits, bottlenecks, or limitations. This means we can get notifications to you without any delays or external factors affecting delivery.
Our official @merchvaultapp account will only follow accounts which are affiliated with MerchVault and our Feed accounts will also only follow accounts associated with MerchVault too!
